Why does everyone have a phone? Even kindergadeners have phones now! Why not just have a family phone and computer? It's so annoying when i go over to other peoples house and all they do is play on their phone!

I know. . .It makes me so mad. The other day, I saw a toddler on an iPhone in a shop. What is the world coming to!? O_o

Well,people think of the advantages first of phones.For example:
-Can tranquilize or keep babies busy so they won't be disturbing
-Needed for work.
-Needed for emergencies
-Easier to chat,call
-Addicting games to be downloaded
-People(kids) have no time no play outside the house(because of school,weather etc.) See More

I find it wrong for little kids to waste away their childhood on electronics, but I do see why they have phones. Easy communication between them and their parents which leads to a certain type of independence.
However, there really is no excuse for when you go over to your friend's house and they are typing away on their phone.

Yeah! I agree. I dont have a phone and all my friend does is play on ir while i watched. If i had a phone id only usw ir to call my parents in emergency so that i dont get addicted like some people do.

It's ridiculous how toddlers have phones! How does that even make sense! It's a TODDLER! They probably will put the dang thing in their mouth! I'm entering seventh grade and I STILL don't have a phone! This is what I think the rule should be: If you are in preschool to second grade, no phone for you! Third grade to fourth grade, a simple phone. Fifth grade and older, smart phone!

well a phone can b a good thing and a bad thing. its a good thing b cuz u can communicate with friends and family easily. but the bad thing is that some people get too addicted to their phones, so they don't have any time to do anything else. a lot of little kids have phones now and its not healthy for them to be addicted at such young age. they should b playing outside or something instead of staying inside on an electronic. no one should use their phone for hours and hours at See More a time. if little kids want to use a phone for like calling a friend or whatever, they can use their home phone or they can ask to use their parents phone. its rlly sad when i see people so addicted to a screen. i dont even have a phone yet and I'm 12 almost 13 in june! my parents dont want me to b obsessed with a phone so they're not letting me get one til I'm in grade 9. but I'm fine with that b cuz i have a computer anyways

I have a phone but I only use it for sleepovers, my friends are ALWAYS on their phones... but my school requires computers so meh...

To communicate with friends or family, or to play a amazing game, listen to music lol
