One time, it was the last day of the semester and I was looking over this one class's canvas page and realized that there was an essay due THAT DAY in 6 hours that was supposed to be 10 pages long. Apparently I was supposed to be working on it all semester. Had to have a butt ton of sources, references, etc.

i have classes throughout the week, work on wednesday, im starting my new job this weekend (friday-sunday), sunday im also going to an afternoon show my friend’s playing as soon as im off work n then like 4 hours later seeing she’s green, then ill be playing shows next tuesday, thursday, and saturday, n im assuming ill be working again sunday morning i might See More actually die

i feel like my songwriting process is particularly interesting bc i will literally j hear something in a conversation n be like “yup that’s going in a song someday.” last week my friend was telling me ab how he went on a business trip w the flu and i was like “damn thats poetic for some reason” n got a whole verse out of it n idk how to explain to him that him trying to sweat out a fever in a hotel room inspired me lyrically
also once in high school i snuck the stupidest inside joke ever into a song. my friends n i had this joke that ray davies from the kinks is an ipad kid who’s obsessed with among us and i wrote an actual, serious song but purposefully used the line “among it’s rays” bc it sounds sorta like “among us ray” i need someone to look at my brain
