Steven Universe Goes to School!

Will Steven Stay in School?

Steven Universe never realized this, but school was going to be hard for him. Specially since he had to get all caught up with math, science, and social studies. The Gems had noticed that Steven was having less focus in Gem stuff and more focus in schoolwork.
"Should we still keep Steven in school? He seems less eager to go with us on missions." Pearl asked Garnet.
"If he wants to stay in school, than let him stay in school." Garnet replied.
"Garnet! Steven`s not hanging out with me anymore." Amethyst replied.
"And he`s getting behind on his Gem work. He still needs to learn how to summon his weapon, and don`t forget that his healing spit hasn`t been working since the... accident." Pearl said.
"Fine. Go ask him if he doesn`t want to do school anymore. But he`ll only go out if he says yes." Garnet answered.
"Okay!" Amethyst and Pearl said in unison.
Amethyst and Pearl sprinted over to Steven, who was doing his homework. Pearl tapped Steven on the shoulder, who seemed really engaged in his work. He didn`t look up.
"STE-E-E-EVEN!" Amethyst said as she picked him up, then she put him down.
"Hm, it worked." Pearl said.
"Course it did." Amethyst replied.
"What do you want?" Steven asked. "I was trying to finish something!"
"Well, we want you to drop out of school! It`s changing you in ways you don`t even notice! But we do." Pearl answered.
"What Pearl means is you`re changing. Instead of being a happy-upbeat boy like you used to be, now you`re grumpier than that time you tried to show us that monster in the stream." Amethyst added.
"I have not changed.-"
"Oh yes you have!" Amethyst interrupted.
"Grr... I`m just really busy now." Steven finished.
"Steven, you know we need you on missions." Pearl told him.
"You did fine without me for 11 years! You can do it yourself again!" Steven yelled.
"Fine, then, sad-sack" Amethyst said as she turned toward the Warp Pad.
"Bye then." Pearl said in a miserable tone.
Little did Steven realized it, but he made a huge mistake.
