I choose...
DAWN'S POVI almost didn't sleep the night before I was chosen.
I, being an only child, was guaranteed to be able to control an element. I probably would never see my family. Ever. Even after the chosen ones, including me, practiced and all that stuff, I still haven't gotten my mind off that. At practice I could NEVER concentrate. There was this guy next to me that was horrible in every single element. I'm really confident that I'm going to get picked. After all the exhausting practice, the Elementor of Water said he had decided. "I choose..." He lingered on the word "choose." Melody Shire." He said. A girl I have never seen in my life stepped up next to him. I held my breath. Next, It was Earth's turn to choose. He chose a young kid of about 11 years old. I was surprised. Wind and Fire went on too. Then it was Water's turn. "I pick... Dawn Moonstone." His words echoed in my mind.
AMETHYST'S POV
Water had called all twenty. Earth had called all twenty. It was Fire's turn. "The fore Elementor hesitated. He scratched his chin and spoke. "My final choice is Amethyst Brite!" I gaped. Everyone heartlessly clapped and looked at me as I trudged forward. I stood behind the Elementor. I was relieved and happy at that moment that I almost forgot about my brother. "Airion!" I thought. My brother looked equally as worried. He bit his lip. The wind Elementor sighed. "Airion Brite. I choose Airion Brite." I almost started jumping up and down in excitement. I looked over to the Water section. A girl smiled at me. I think she was Dawn Moonstone.
AIRION'S POV
I was scared for a moment. I breathed out a sigh of relief. My sister smiled at me. I smiled back. The Elementor stared at me from now and then, as if he where regretting his decision. Once the Elementors where finished examining their choices, giant gates closed in, separating the chosen ones from the others. I wasn't the most confident, being picked last and all, but I had bragging rights, didn't I? I scratched my head and walked up to a random girl. "So..." I said. She walked away before I could even finish my sentence. I was to happy to even CARE! I would see my sister. I would live.
