ARION'S POV

I was speechless. The first thing I did was try to stay calm in front of my twin sister. Then I thought about how we both got picked when only one was supposed to... I quickly pushed the thought aside. I focused on the guard even though my sister kept looking at me worriedly. Then, four guards came out. They all wore the same uniforms, but each had colored tattoos, representing each element I thought. They divided us into four groups and each group went to an "Element Dude" as I named them. My sister and I got the water dude first. They gave us a pill that made us become able to control the element for ten minutes. I wasn't the best. I accidentally hit the element dude in the face and made him slip on ice. After, we went to fire. My sister was pretty good. Me on the other hand... Lets just say I'm better at water. I was even WORSE at earth. I almost got smashed by a flying chunk of rock I made. Finally, Wind. I won't go into detail. At the end of the day, I was tired, and yea, nearly dead. We gathered back into the line. This time it was my sister who was looking calm. "The Elementors have decided." Spoke the "main" guard. I held my sister's hand and we held our breath. This was the moment. Would we be separated? Out of the 100 kids and teens, 60 would get chosen. Then, out of the 50, 5 of each element would move on to the "other place" as they call it. I'm not exactly talented at any element.


AMETHYST'S POV

I have never been so worried in my life. We practiced elements. I know, it sounds easy. Don't judge. The only element I was "decent" at was fire. My brother wasn't the best at any. I was afraid he wouldn't get chosen. Of course, I wasn't guaranteed a spot either. Finally, the main guard spoke. "The Elementors have made their choice." "You already said that." I thought. I secretly wanted to get picked by wind. But that would never happen. Mainly since I... Kinda blew the Elementor against a wall with an attempt at the element. FINALLY, the water Elementor stepped forward. "I choose..."
