First Impressions
After the Elementors where all settled down, Each section was led in through a door. I gaped when I stepped out the door. We where on a giant room that had a glass roof. I saw the wind people on the other side. "Wind and Water will practice here." Said the Wind Elementor. I ignored the rest and went to explore the room. There were small streams running through the entire room. The sun shone brightly in through the clear roof. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't see a guy who was ALSO lost in his thoughts. "OW!" I said as I bumped into him. "You where the guy that was really bad at all the elements!" I blurted out. He raised an eyebrow. "Thats... A bit harsh." I blocked out the comment. "How did you survive!?" I asked, eager to learn. "Um... Well, I think the Elementor didn't want my sister to.." He didn't finish his sentence. "Oh." I said. I decided it wasn't the best choice to talk about that, so I changed the subject. "My name's Dawn by the way!" I said. "Airion." He replied.
AMETHYST'S POV
I saw Airion go to a different room as me. Our Elementor took us to a dark room. It had lava cracks in the obsidian looking floor. There was no sign of sunlight, only the dim glow from the lava. The walls where mostly stone and dirt. The Earth Elementor explained everything that was going on. He said that he knew all the practice and first choosing had gone very quickly for us. "This is your training room." He said. He also said, every day we would duel one person until we had dueled all. Then the top 10 would move on. After that the top 5 would go to the "other place." I instantly got to work. I felt uncomfortable because the Fire Elementor kept standing there and watched me practice. Nothing happened even though I tried and tried. The Elementor let out a soft chuckle. "First you must concentrate." He said. "I AM!" I wanted to shout back, but I restrained. I sat down on the surprisingly cold floor. I closed my eyes and thought. For a second nothing happened. Then, I saw fire inside my mind and I opened my eyes quickly. I now had a throbbing headache. The palm of my hand was burning. When I finally had the courage to look at it, the Elementor's Brown-Red eyes brightened and I saw. On the palm if my hand, was a red mark. It was kind of flame shaped.
AIRION'S POV
Practice went pretty well. I couldn't get my mind off that Dawn girl, though. Then again, she was second picked, I was last. She was WAY out of my league. The good thing is, the Elementor said: "You have improved." That was pretty cool.
