Another round of duels

DAWN'S POV

I felt sick. The first duel was so gory that I dreaded the next one. I looked over at Ashe who was being congratulated, but her eyes where wide and her hands shaking. I looked at the arena. It now looked so peaceful. The lady smiled and sat down at her chair. The Elementors whispered their choices into her ear. She nodded. "The Elementors have decided for round 2!" She said a little bit to enthusiastically. "Wind picks..." I looked at the wind section. Everyone was holding their breath. "Teron Heserat." She finished. My first thought: "That is the ugliest name I've ever heard. Second though: "I could be next..." The Fire Elementor looked pleased with himself as the lady spoke. "From fire... Aria Summer. I looked over at Amethyst. She sat straight up and her eyes widened.  

AMETHYST'S POV

I blinked hard, holding back tears as Aria stepped into the arena. The weirdo Teron guy was already there. I didn't listen to the other choices. I was to busy coming back to reality. Once the round had began, I noticed the other picks. A girl I'd seen before... An Earth girl. Her name was Ruby. Then, there was Water. There was a guy I had trained with before. His name was "Bob" or something. Teron blasted air at Bob and he flew backwards and was stricken by one of Aria's flames. Aria was amazing. She sent flame spikes flying, hitting Teron and Ruby. They let put piercing screams. Teron didn't mind. He produced a wave of wind and knocked a weak Bob off his feet. Bob was raising his hand to surrender when Ruby sent a rock flying at him and he was crushed.  

ARIA'S POV

I dodged a volley of earth spikes and melted them with heat. Then I let out a wave of fire. Teron was completely engulfed. I stared at Ruby. My last opponent. She sliced the ground and a line of spikes appeared from where she was standing to where I was. I used the opportunity. I melted all the rocks forming a steaming liquid and with my last might let it fly back to where it came from. The liquid hit her on the face, as she dropped to her knees. I wiped my hands and grinned. That was just for the audience.
Inside, I was crying. I was shaken, and I was scarred. I looked and smiled at Dawn who was obviously very relieved. After that, many rounds went on. About 12. One of the winners was water. One was earth, and one was of course... Fire. The wind Elementor looked troubled.
