Why do shows end the episode or do something to make two characters who should`ve kissed not kiss? This question has been bugging me for a while. Why do shows interfere with two characters when they are about to kiss? They did it in Teen Titans Go when Robin was about to kiss Starfire, they ended the episode. And in Steven Universe, Steven and Connie were about to kiss until Connie got a headache. They also did that again in Lion 3: Straight to Video when Rose Quartz and Greg were about to kiss until the videotape ended. I want to know why shows do that!

Come on! Robin and batgirl kissed on the episode where beast boy and cyborg were having a staring contest for 30 years

Because they don't want to create any definite canon pairings.
It is better for marketing if they have the suspense of an "unrequited" romance or something of that sort.
