What? Why?! (Chapter 15)

Cinderpaw was out on a Dawn patrol one morning when they suddenly had to pass the Thunderpath. When it was Cinderpaw's turn to pass everything went downhill from there. 

*SCREECH! CRASH!*

"SHE GOT HIT!" One of the warriors that were on the other side of the Thunderpath yowled to the others. Cinderpaw was too shocked to even scream from the pain. She just simply fainted.

~~ Time Skip ~~

When Cinderpaw woke up, she noticed she was back in the Med Den in Thunderclan. Longpelt was quickly trying to heal Cinderpaw. Cinderpaw could tell that her mother and Longpelt were VERY worried. Cinderpaw squeaked making Longpelt stop dead in her tracks. Longpelt knew Cinderpaw wanted to know what happened so she explained everything the best she could. Cinderpaw knew that she wouldn't walk the same for the rest of her life. She would have to limp.

~~ The Gathering ~~

Since Cinderpaw didn't meet up with Hawkpaw the next day, he got worried so he asked to go went to check on her. When he got there he saw the most heartbreaking thing he's ever heard. When the Gathering started he saw that Cinderpaw's leg wasn't....right. When he heard the news from Hollystar (new Thunderclan leader) he felt so heartbroken. 'I knew I should've went to check over on her earlier! Why didn't I?' Hawkpaw asked himself. He still saw that Brightpaw and Blackpaw were still glaring at Cinderpaw making her expression sad. She was sitting beside Longpelt, with her tail carefully curled around her new forever-broken leg.
