You Don't Deserve This... (Chapter 16)
Few days after the Gathering, Cinderpaw carefully got up and left camp one night to look for Hawkpaw. When she spotted him she limped over to say 'hi.' But something wasn't right. On the cliff Cinderpaw and Hawkpaw usually stay on every other night was occupied by Hawkpaw and another she-cat. Thing was this she-cat was a Windclan she-cat! She wasn't supposed to be this far into Thunderclan or Riverclan territory! Cinderpaw knew what was happening though. She decided to confront Hawkpaw since she knew about everything now. All of his love... Was a lie.Cinderpaw limped out of the bushes and sighed, "I knew this would happen. So your love was a lie then?" Hawkpaw was surprised at Cinderpaw's timing. "C-cinderpaw! I-i can explain!" Hawkpaw quickly rushed out the words. "Yes, he can. He's gonna explain that he is with me now! Not a broken she-cat like you!" The Windclan she-cat said in a snobby voice. "Well.... You can have him for all I care." Cinderpaw finally said emotionless as she turned of limp off back to camp. "W-wait! Cinderpaw! Please! I really can explain!" Hawkpaw said as he ran after Cinderpaw. "Now why are you coming back to me, an ugly, broken she-cat, when you already have everything over there, a non-broken she-cat with good looks?" Cinderpaw questioned Hawkpaw when he stopped her. "See Hawkpaw? She agrees!" The Windclan she-cat said. "You," Hawkpaw yelled at the Windclan she-cat. "You shut up! And get outta here!" The Windclan she-cat looked hurt, but ran home anyway.
Hawkpaw turned back to Cinderpaw to see that she was glaring at him. Or trying to. The tears in her eyes kinda stopped her. "L-look Cinderpaw. I'm so sorry-" Hawkpaw interrupted by Cinderpaw when she glomped (tackle-hugged) him to the ground. Cinderpaw was crying. It hurt Hawkpaw to hear, see, or even think about Cinderpaw crying. "Why.... Why did you do this?" Cinderpaw weakly asked Hawkpaw due to the tears. "I don't know. I was lonely Cinderpaw. You didn't come back for days." He hugged her the best cats could hug. "But why would.... You do that?" Cinderpaw asked him, her voice breaking a little. "Because I was stupid." Hawkpaw said. "You don't deserve this... I'm sorry." Hawkpaw apologized again. "I-its ok... I forgive you..." Cinderpaw said getting up off of Hawkpaw. "Should I walk you home?" Hawkpaw asked her. Cinderpaw nodded. The then got along again just fine.
