A New Trainer!
Hello, my name is Tsukia Kari, I am currently a 19 year old pokemon trainer that has lived a very interesting life so far and I feel like sharing my experiences. I should probably begin this off when I got my first pokemon as a 10 year old girl. I was still half asleep trying to wake myself up seeing I was meant to go get my first pokemon at Cosmos town. My mom was watching TV while dad was at work at the nearby powerplant on route G.I was almost done getting ready when mom walked in the room with a sad expression on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she told me a problem came up so I won't be able to get my first pokemon that day. Even though mom never told me what happened, I found out on my own that there was a accident at the lab in Cosmos town and it was destroyed as a result. I never left my room after hearing the bad news of not being able to get my first pokemon. I through a few fits and cried a lot for the next few days that went by.
I eventually got over it and accepted the fact that I had to wait longer. I went to the park to spend time with a friend of mine named Nikko Hansha. She already got her first pokemon. She told me to guess what type of pokemon she got. I took a guess and said fire seeing fire is a favorite amongst most of my friends but I was wrong. She laughed and said, "nope, I decided to be the odd one out!". She threw the poke-ball and out came her pokemon, which was a Todadile.
It stared at me for a minute and then ran and hid behind her. I smiled and laughed a bit and told her it was cute. She said, "of course he is, all water types are cute!". I just nodded my head, smiling lightly. She randomly asked what kind of pokemon did I get. She didn't know that I couldn't get my first pokemon yet, so I told her the situation and we both frowned. She told me she was sorry for asking and I told her it was ok.
She and I along with her Todadile played around the park for the rest of the day. As she was walking away from the park, I decided to stay a bit longer and watched two trainers battle. It was an interesting battle with one person using a Gengar and the other using a Nidorino. The trainer with the Gengar won after using Hypnosis and Dream-Eater on the Nidorino. They left the park after shaking hands and smiling.
I saw something in the grass that had a red tint to it and, out of curiosity, I went to see what it was. I picked it up to find it was a poke-ball. I checked to see if there was a pokemon in it but it was empty. I looked to see if the trainers where still around, thinking it could have belonged to them. I couldn't find or see them. I decided I would turn it into the pokemon center and let them give it back to the person it belonged too.
While I was walking to the pokemon center, it began to get dark. I didn't have a problem with the dark, I kind of enjoyed it. I was walking near the shop of the town when I suddenly herd a loud cry that sounded like it came from a pokemon. I turned the corner to see the shop owner shouting at an Eevee for stealing some food. I wasn't bothered by it until he started kicking the poor eevee. My eyes widened a bit as he kept kicking it. At the rate he was hurting it, it would end up dying.
My body started moving on its own, everything went silent except for my breathing and my footsteps along with the Eevee's cry of pain. I ran towards the Eevee and shop owner and pulled out the poke-ball I found. I ran by and tapped Eevee with the ball. The Eevee was pulled into the poke-ball. The ball began to shake as I kept running, holding it against my chest with both arms. All I heard was the shop owner yelling as I tried to run and get away.
The poke-ball stopped shaking and made a noise, showing that Eevee was caught. I began heading towards the pokemon center, soon I didn't hear the shop owner anymore. I rushed through the pokemon center's doors up to Nurse Joy and handed her the poke-ball. I was breathing heavily and begged her to please help the injured eevee. I waited in the main room and Nurse Joy walked out of a room handing me the poke-ball saying, "your pokemon is all better now."
I smiled hearing the good news, but then my mind backtracked to when she said your pokemon. I smiled even more looking at the poke-ball. I finally got my first pokemon. Nurse Joy called my parents for me after I told her what happened with the shop owner. My parents got there as fast as they could and hugged me being worried. They took me home and told me to get some rest.
