Truth or Dare...
I opened my door. I didn’t know how to calm him down but I had to try. I knew this would happen. Just how Drew had got angry at seeing me hurt it appeared Darcy couldn’t handle it. As I was about to get out Darcy walked around to my door and wrapped his arms around me.“I’m sorry. You don’t deserve this. I’m not angry with you” said Darcy.
“It’s alright. I understand” I whispered into his ear. He carried me out of the car.
“You know my leg’s fine now” I said, smiling.
“I know” he smiled back. He laid me down on the grass beside the lake. I sat up and he sat next to me. I knew I must have looked awful. With my damaged neck, in my grass green school uniform, my hair almost falling out, but for the moment I didn’t care. All I cared about was spending as much time with Darcy as I could possibly manage without going completely insane.
“Let’s play a game” said Darcy.
“A game?”
“Yeah. What about Truth or Dare?” he asked.
“Ok then” I agreed.
“You start.”
“Ok. Truth or Dare?”
“Truth” he said.
“What is your favourite colour?” I asked edging closer to Drew.
“Dark blue. Truth or Dare?” he smiled.
“Truth” I answered.
“What happened with that boy on the phone? You know the one telling you to put your clothes back on.” He laughed but stopped once he saw my face. Drew. It had to come back to Drew.
