There Is No End

~Chapter 3~

   Eternal learned Tora wasn’t a threat, and stopped her attacks. “Tora? Is that you?” Maggie asked. The tiger-beast nodded. Eternal was infuriated. “Why have you never told me?” She yelled. The cat advanced on Tora, her fists balled. Tora bent her head down in apology. Eternal sighed and realized Tora did it for the best.
    The tiger-beast looked at the child, who’s eyes were huge with amazement. Tora moved her paw to touch the little girl, but she backed away. Confused Tora moved her paw towards the girls slowly, showing she meant no harm. Her massive paw passed through the gils torso.
    Maggie stood confused, that snapped her head up, obviously hearing something. “Who’s there?” the arctic wolf called out. Hesitantly, a small tabby cat stepped out. The cat was shocked to see the large tiger-beast. Maggie groaned in relief. “My name is Rose.” the tabby said, in awe. Maggie stepped forward, “My name is Maggie, that’s Eternal, and that beast over there is Tora.” Maggie explained, pointing to the corresponding people. Rose nodded and smiled.
     Tora looked up to the sky relieved that the night was ending. She looked to her companions and began to trot back to her home. She didn’t want to be in the woods naked when she became, well not beastly. As the others followed, curious, Tora continued to think about the child. Tora walked into her sanctuary, she transformed into her regular tiger self. She sprinted to her room, her feet thudding softly on the floor. The others came into the house, waiting for the tiger to come out of her room.
    A little while past before Tora exited her room, her hair damp and less tore up clothes. Eternal sighed, “Did you really just take a shower?”
    “You would too, if your body was caked in dirt and leafs.” Tora deadpanned. Eternal was irritated that the tiger never told her, that she was a were-tiger or something. A complete beast. Maggie walked up, “What should we do with that stone?”  The wolf questioned. Tora instantly remembered what she saw. “I can tell you It’s not cursed.” the tiger said, walking to the kitchen. “What stone? Cursed?” Rose asked obviously confused. Eternal sighed as she began to explain what had happened yesterday.
