Tay's Wrath (Chapter 8)
~~ Lyna's P.O.V. ~~'No! She's already gone mad! Damn it!' I thought as I ran into the clearing in the camp. It was a few days after I told Tay that she might have been taking after me and she was already snapping at everyone! I saw Tay yelling at everyone who got as close as 5 feet away from her. She even yelled at Ina, who was pretty scared afterwards. I calmly padded closer to Tay. She noticed me though and snapped.
"Screw you Lyna! No one likes you or your two sides! Just leave this place and get captured again!" Tay hissed harshly. Usually I never got hurt by words but this stung badly. I then found my other side taking over as my ears flattened against my head.
"No one asked for your opinion, Tay! We all just want you to shut the heck up and go back to your old self!" I hissed. She harshly glared and growled at me. She then crouched like she was about to pounce and fight. I noticed she had her claws unsheathed. I knew she was gonna hurt me sooner or later.
"What is going on here?!" A voice yelled over the shocked mummers, gasps, and mumbles. The voice belonged to Kuturo.
"Tay snapped at everyone today!" I told him, but I left out the part of her talking shit about me. "We were all minding our own business when Tay suddenly snapped at someone and that turned to her snapping at everyone." Ina quietly told Kuturo. Kuturo nodded in response then looked back at an angry Tay.
"Tay, this attitude is not necessary and we will not have it! If you do this again then we will have a reason to put you with the rejects!" Kuturo growled as he warned Tay. Many others and I gasped. We knew how messed up some of the rejects were and I wondered how I wasn't there yet considering I have two different sides that the powers gave me. The mean and viscous side wasn't the real me. It was a side effect from the freaking shots that I gained!
Tay looked surprised.
~~ Tay's P.O.V. ~~
'P-put me with the rejects?! Th-they wouldn't... Would they?' I asked myself in my head. My anger subsided as it turned to shock. "P-please don't!" I cried. "Then don't become the monster you just became!" Kuturo hissed. "Hey! I have that same freaking side!" I heard Lyna hiss and Kuturo sigh after.
"P-please Kuturo! Please don't throw me with the rejects!" I cried again. He sighed, "Fine, but if I catch you doing this again then you will be escorted to them!" "T-thanks for giving me another chance!" I smiled. "I still say she should've been thrown in the rejects already..." I heard Brick mumble. "What the heck was that?!" I hissed at him and he backed away, scared. "Tay!" Kuturo growled, shutting me up. "S-sorry...!" I quickly apologized.
Everyone then departed and left the clearing, going back to what they were doing before. This left me sitting there in the clearing... Alone. I felt so bad.
