The Fight (Chapter 7)
~~Tay's P.O.V~~I was lazily sunbathing on a warm rock when I felt a pang of hunger. Having my relaxation swiped away from me made me grumpy. I stormed over to the prey pile, not really knowing why I was so enraged. I snatched a plump squirrel from the top of the pile, knowing that it was fresher. Right in the midst of my anger, Brick tried to flirt with me for the sixteen millionth time. "Go away brick...Nobody likes you," I tried to keep my anger contained. He looked kind of hurt, but soon his face twisted into a scowl. "I knew it was a mistake flirting with someone so ugly," He grinned like the idiot he was. That did it. I pinned him to the ground, growling like a thunderstorm. "What did you just say!?" My voice was loud enough for everyone to hear, but I didn't care.
After awhile of fighting with stupid Brick, Lyna had rushed over and stopped the fight. "What is going on here?!" Lyna asked as she stood between me and Brick. "I've been in a bad mood all day and Brick just made it worse by saying I'm ugly!" I growled, glaring at Brick. Lyna looked a bit surprised to hear this.
"Oh geez... Tay, you might be taking after me," She sighed. "What?" I was confused as heck. "Some cats that hang around me for too long usually take after me and copy my personalities without knowing." Lyna said and dismissed Brick after making him apologize. It took forever for him to apologize, but Lyna eventually got him to do it by freezing his paws to the ground until he did.
"That's not true! It can be!" I hissed. Lyna then raised an eyebrow and glared as if saying 'excuse me?!'. I then realized it was true. "O-oh... I'm sorry Lyna. I didn't mean to snap at you, but how does this even happen?" I asked. "To be honest, I don't really know. It just...happens." Lyna sighed as her face softened and shrugged.
~~ Lyna's P.O.V. ~~
Oh no...Not again! I can't have another cat take after me! It always, and I mean always ends badly! I don't want anything bad to happen to Tay or whoever gets sucked into her wrath when she's mad like me! I just hope Ina and Kuturo doesn't take after me in the future either...
