Confusion (Chapter 9)

Confusion (Chapter 9) ~~Tay's P.O.V~~

My shocked state of mind quickly subsided into anger. Lyna was making this whole thing happen! If they dare to put me in with those freaks, they're screwed. I began to feel my rage tugging at my paws, urging them to slash someone. To kill. I shook away the dark thought and sighed. My anger seemed to dissolve into the murky air of the Punishment Den. "Why did I do that? Why did it get myself into this?" I murmured regretfully as I glanced out into the clearing. Lyna seemed happy....They all did. I knew it was because of my absence.

A flash. A yowl of terror. A shriek of pain. Blood. I gasped for air as the walls of the den came into view. My dark dreams seemed to entrap my in a cycle of insanity. Maybe I was meant to be part of the rejects. The thought disgusted me, but it was reasonable.

~~ Lyna's P.O.V. ~~

I felt bad for getting Tay in trouble, but it had to be done. Everyone agreed to throw her in the Punishment Den. Even Ina agreed, but very quietly. I sighed as I hoped that we're still friends once she gets out...

I padded over to Ina, who was staring at Tiger. Ina's white eyes turned to a light pink and I gasped, silently fangirling. She told me that when her eyes change color it means she changed emotions. White is normal, red is anger, light purple is fear, light blue was sadness, light orange was laziness, yellow was happiness, and light pink was love! She had a crush on Tiger! I kept quiet and quietly backed away, smiling like the weirdo I was. Ina never noticed me sneak away, so I was good.

I caught a glimpse of Tay in the Punishment Den. It looked like she was glaring at me. And I don't blame her. My tail drooped as my ears flattened against my head. I was hurt. I sighed and shook my head as I padded away with my fluffy tail dragging across the grass. I hope we're still friends...
