(Chapter 12)
~~ Lyna's P.O.V. ~~I trotted around the, clearing looking for Ina. I tackled her when I spotted her and gave her a friendly nuzzle. Its been a while since we hung out. Ina was surprised by the sudden tackle, her eyes turning purple.
"Hey Ina!" I greeted the galaxy furred soldier. "H-hi Lyna." Ina replied back. "So did ya tell Tiger about your crush?~" I asked Ina in a sing song voice. Ina blushed and her eyes widened. "H-how'd you know?!" She asked surprised, her eyes changing color again.
"Everyone knows! It's so obvious!" I laughed. "But Tiger is too stupid to realize your love for him!"
"I was g-gonna tell him t-today, but I don't know h-how he'll react..." Ina said still nervously, blushing. I smirked. "Oh, this is so happening!"
~~ Time Skip ~~
After helping Ina confess to Tiger, I padded over to the prey pile. Tiger apparently had a crush on Ina as well, so now they were mates! It's awesome, I'm so happy for her!
I picked up a stale squirrel squirrel and a small mouse and headed over to the Punishment Den to give Tay and Kyro their lunch. They both turned to look at me when I entered the den. Tay was glaring at me while Kyro was staring at the food longingly. I dropped the prey in front of them. Kyro took the plump squirrel and started to eat nosily, growling and tearing at the meat as if he hadn't eaten for days. Tay just sat there glaring at me as I dropped the mouse. My ears flattened themselves against my head and my tail drooped. "I'm still sorry for what happened, Tay. I never meant for any of this..." I mewed solemnly, sadness edging my voice.
"I don't care what you have to say! Don't even bother to pity me. Just get out you worthless bag of flees!" Tay harshly hissed. I sighed. "I guess I do deserve that..." I bitterly chuckled. I then turned and slowly padded out of the Punishment Den.
'I'm still so sorry...'
~~ Tay's P.O.V. ~~
I glared as Lyna slowly and sadly padded out of the den. Kyro looked over at me. "Why were you so mean? She seems nice. She brought us food!" He asked.
"I don't like her! She threw me in here!" I hissed. "How?" He asked. "I took after her bad side. She says she didn't mean for this to happen but I don't believe her!" I said. "I would. I mean she has been bringing us food for the past few weeks," He said. "She even apologizes every day."
I sighed and started to gnaw on the mouse. I sighed. 'I really do feel horrible...Maybe it's time to forgive her.' I thought sadly.
