Today's the Day

Lexi's POV

Today was the day! The day of the dance! Today Avery and Aaron would FINALLY get together! It was a pain to not be able to talk to Avery on the walk to school....Arg!

Emma's POV

With the prospect of the dance nearing, anticipation rose. I just COULDN'T wait! The school day though...moved way too slow.

Cliff's POV

I was excited for the dance...not really. I was more apprehensive of what Kelly's surprise was.

All through the tutoring session, I'd pestered her like a proper little brother, but to not avail. My hands were shaking all throughout my classes, because whatever she had planned, I had a bad feeling about.

Ian's POV

Dancing with Libby. Dancing with Libby. Just thinking those words made me smile, as cheesy as it sounded.

I walked down the hall at the end of the day, feeling bad about myself (which sort of disgusted me too) and bad about Dawn (whatever was up with her). Aaron...didn't love me at all, did he?

Lexi, Emma, and Amethyst came up to me, faces flushed and alight.

I looked at them dully. "What?"

Lexi looked a bit taken back. "Well? Did you fix the chocolate fountain?"

Chocolate fountain? What? Our chocolate fountain was fine...

They looked appalled, then rushed away, leaving me confused and not any happier.
