The Grand Idea

Lexi's POV

Why did Avery and Aaron have to be so bad at the whole couple thing? Because of their epic fail, another meeting was instituted Thursday afternoon. A matchmaker's work is never done...

As usual, Amethyst said what we were all thinking.

"It's THURSDAY AFTERNOON." she cried. "The dance is in 24 hours! We need a brilliant plan!"

We sat there for a tedious half an hour. I was about to pass out from the sheer boringness, it came to us.

Emma's POV

Bored.

Bored.

So bored.

Then, all of a sudden, I felt an idea forming. A genius, devious, totally awesome idea.

"Guys! Let's..."

Lexi's POV

It was later in the evening, and we were at school, getting ready to get Avery and Aaron together.

As Amethyst lugged in the final few supplies, Emma messed with the chocolate fountain Ryan and Cliff had ordered.

A few minutes later, she yelled, "Done! I completely clogged it! They'll HAVE to fix it!"

I smiled an evil smile and put the rest of the things in a small back closet.

"C'mon, let's go!" cried Amethyst. Emma and I followed her out the school and we raced back to my house like the fantastic matchmaker-ninjas we are.
