Plot twist (the only new thing is a bully and this chapter is way to sad so... Recommended to skip)
The doors suddenly unlocked with a loud "Click!" And everyone rushed inside. Me and Victoria looked at eachother and sighed. "Well, we should head inside..." I muttered, getting up. She nodded and scrambled up, and we walked in silently."Oh god, the freaks are here!" A girl had shouted. We both froze up in the middle of the hallways. I looked at Victoria and subtlety motioned her to run, and spun on my heels as she walked off. "What freaks? I don't see any." I responded.
The girl had short, dirty-blonde hair and was basically your steryotypical brat outfit: skinny jeans and a really thin tshirt that I questioned to be school appropriate, and a pure pink back pack. She was paler than me (if that was possible) and had a few freckles.
"Um, you. Obviously. Who wears a galaxy backpack, a nerd sweat shirt, and jeans? And shoes that ugly of a color-" I looked down. Doctor. Who sweat shirt, black tennis shoes, and navy blue jeans. "And glasses that nerdy, I would be scared. Get some contacts, girl." She sneered. People were laughing and pointing at me. I sighed. "Listen, Ms. Mary-Sue, I really need to get to class so I can-"
The bell for an intercom turned on. "Emergency faquelty meeting in the library, hallways blocked. All students please head to the cafeteria." A young male voice said. I had suddenly realized my friend who moved here wasn't here. He-
I heard he was sick the last two days.
She sneered, kicked me in the knee cap as she headed off with the crowd.
"Ma'am, you need to head to the cafeteria."
"She's deaf, she's not going to move"
"You need to-"
I spun on my heals and slowly sat down in the cafeteria.
Time had passed with everyone confused as we headed to class.
I sat next to Trezel and he looked at me confused. "You ok?" He asked. I sighed. "Yeah. Just confused." I replied.
The teacher came in with a worried face. "I... Jacob *cecored* was unresponsive in bed today. He's dead." He choked. "Counciling is in the library, and I'd like to apologize for any-"
"You're kidding, right?"
"This HAS to be a joke!"
Students exploded, and a few were crying.
And a few sat there with blank expressions, some were trying not to explode.
After everyone calmed down, we all sat in silence. No work was done that first class; it was a time to grieve.
And I didn't recognize his name until lunch.
(RIP Jacob, you were a good kid. Sorry we didn't talk much ^_^U)
(So, yeah. This chapter was similar to a true event. The real story was we got to school, and I was trying to be positive. Class should have started, but the eight and seventh graders were held in. After a while, we went in and I got to English/ GT class. My teacher was explaining to the class Jacob had died, and we were held in late for an emergency faquelty moving. Of course, I don't recognize people by names, and I only met him last year. We only ever had one class togeather, but we became friends [i guess???] and felt guilty afterwards. Well, the term he used was "unresponsive". So, yeah. Sorry, dude.)
(Sorry this chapter was short and sad, I needed to add a chapter and at the same time needed to vent. Tell the story or SOMETHING. I probably shouldn't have done this in such a popular story. So, if I should redo this chapter, tell me. I won't mind.)
