Jealousy

Everyone got their burgers and hotdogs and found a nice spot near the river to eat. Scrouge stuck near Electra which made her incredibly happy. Sonic had sat himself next to Jackie and they chatted having a lot to catch up with. Scrouge suddenly stood up.
"I'm going up to get another hotdog, you want one Electra?" Electra shakes her head refusing to blush.
"No, you go ahead" Negro walked up beside Scrouge.
"I'll get one too, I'm staving" The two trotted off. Electra glanced at Lilli who had hearts in her eyes and she watched Negro walk off.
"Ca-yute!" Electra sang making Lilli punch her arm.
"Knock it off, not like I don't have blackmail for material with you and Scrouge over there!" Lilli said sending an evil smile Electra's way making her laugh.
"I won't tell if you don't tell"
"Deal!" Scrouge came back seconds later but no Negro followed. Electra looked at him questionably but he just shrugged and sat next to her happily digging into his food. She quickly gazed around the food line, then the picnic tables, the large boulders...she found Negro. He was sitting on a boulder with an empty plate and a lit up face. He was talking to a girl, but not any girl. Amy Rose. Negro said somehting to her and she covered her mouth with her finger tips and giggled girlishly. Stunned, Electra turned back around. Lilli still had no idea. Didn't Amy like Sonic? Everyone new that! But why was she flirting with Negro...unless it was to spite the group. Electra growled.
"You alright?" Scrouge asked peering at her. Lilli looked up too. Red alert, red alert! Electra had to come up with a distraction! Quick! She did not want to Lilli to see Amy flirting with Negro. Surely that boy will have enough sense to get his butt back over to them.
"You know...it's a little awkward between you and me" Electra tries to hide her shock that this was the first thing that came to mind.
"What?" Scrouge blinks clueless. Why did she start this?
"You know, Fiona and all" Scrouge blinked again his smile fading.
"What about Fiona?" Lilli shuffled away to talk to Victoria as if to give the two privacy. Score.
"She...you..." Electra trailed off suddenly discovering how fascinating the grass is.
"We broke up" Scrouge said simply. "Because I like you, she was okay with that"
"Right" The grass was green. Scrouge peered at her.
"Are..you okay with that?"
"Yeah, fine" Very green grass.
"Then, why?" Electra shrugged and waved it off.
"Nevermind, don't worry about it"
"Okay" Scrouge seemed troubled but soon shrugged it off. "Hey, did you know I can stuff six hotdogs in my mouth at the same time?" Electra snorted.

Beside the lake the campers soon started trickling away heading to their bunks to digest too many hot dogs and burgers. Amy discovered that Wave snagged the last burger even though Amy had dibs on it. After announcing the bird's thievery she pouted. Lilli sighs. But this was a good thing because soon Negro came at sat right back next to her. He had spent a long time with Amy...why is that? He can't like her can he? She couldn't ask him about it. Her eyes wondered to Amy who was looking st her with a very smug grin. Soon Negro left to go back to his bunk and the girls go back to theirs. Lilli felt sick. If Amy talked about Negro on the way back she thought she might throw up. She trails behind the rest of the group to take a breather..she suddenly has a feeling that someone is watching her but when she looked around, there was no one there...Lilli shrugs and carries on trudging forward.
