Chapter 5 - I Guess This Is Goodbye
Once Skittle heard those words, her whole world was shattered to pieces. Her best friend Tara, her other half, her only friend, was leaving her. If Tara was gone, who would she play with at playtime in the schoolyard? All the other children her age despised her and wouldn't go anywhere near her, and when they did, it was usually to mock her.Skittle burst into tears and ran out of the classroom, slamming the door behind her.
"Skittle, where are you going?" the teacher called after her, but she took no notice.
She stormed into the girls' bathroom, locked herself in a cubicle and let all her emotions out. She cried quietly, but she had almost used up a whole toilet roll with her tears. Then suddenly Skittle heard a voice.
"Skittle, are you okay in there?"
It was Tara. The teacher had obviously sent her to look for her.
"Go away!" the eight-year-old girl sobbed.
"But, Skittle..." Tara started.
"No! You left me! And now I'm going to have to be on my own for the rest of my life!"
"But, Skittle, you don't understand. I don't want to move to the countryside."
"Yes, but you are doing. And you can't change that."
Skittle then stormed out of the cubicle and back into the classroom.

But I don't think you've seen the wall post about what happened on the trip. It was absolutely horrible. The teacher brought 20 other people on the trip who hadn't done anything at all. On the way there in the coach, I was forced to sit in a spare seat in a cramped area next to the door, and everyone else got proper seats, even though I was the See More only reason they were on the trip. I kept having panic attacks on the coach because I got really claustrophobic. And when we got there, the whole thing was just listening to authors talk about their books for three hours. It was so boring, and at the end of it, the teacher didn't even let us meet any authors. When someone asked the teacher if we were going to meet them, the teacher told them not to be stupid, even though it specifically said on the letter we were given that we got to meet all of the authors. And we got back to school just after lunch, when the teacher had said that the trip lasted all day.
I was so angry. . . :/
