Chapter 9
Midnight raced into the alleyway. She had to catch up to Tiger, even wondering how far he had got. She then saw him, attacking Fern.“Stop, Tiger! I know what you did to me!” Midnight screamed to Tiger.
“Oh! Here comes your friend, Fern. Like she was ever able to help you! Ha. I know none of this would have ever happened if Fern just told you about me! You, Midnight, can do nothing to stop me! I`ve already got your friend.”
“What do you mean?” Midnight said, terrified.
“This.” Tiger said as he threw Fern`s dead body to her.
“What! You killed her?” Midnight cried, shocked.
“Yes. That is just an example of what I am going to do to you!” Tiger hissed as he jumped onto Midnight.
Midnight leaped out of the way just in time. Then, she clawed Tiger in the face. Tiger jumped at her and attacked her with the same move that she did on him. Then, Midnight jumped for Tiger`s neck and dug her teeth into it. She dropped his dead body, knowing she did what she had to do to save the tribes. Then, she turned and walked toward home.
