Chapter 7
That night, Midnight looked at Tiger.“You ready?” Midnight asked Tiger.
“Yes. Get up and move. Get the keys, now” Tiger hissed.
“Since when did you become the boss? I thought we were a team!” Midnight hissed.
“We are! We just need to go or else she will catch us!” Tiger mewed.
“Fine, then”
Midnight jumped on the ledge and wrapped her jaw around the keys. She tossed them down to Tiger so he could catch them.
“Thank you! Ha! I cannot believe I fooled you!” Tiger yowled.
Midnight stared, helplessly, at Tiger as he opened the door in front of him.
“Oh, and I forgot to tell you my plan! I`ve always hated the tribes, and I`ve always hated you! I`m going to escape, then, destroy the tribes! Including your friend, Fern!” Tiger yowled.
“But, why?”
“Because, a long time ago, your friend, Fern, abandoned me to go with your silly tribes! For years, I was alone, without any friends!”
Then, Tiger closed the cat door and left Midnight behind.
