AMETHYST'S POV

At practice the next day, I found myself talking to the cute earth guy a lot. His name was Zane. He told me a bit about himself, and it wasn't that bad because he was last picked for Earth as I was for fire. I have to admit, the training room isn't the most romantic place in the world, but it was enjoyable. Moving on from that, I'm falling behind on training. Everyone can at least do something with fire, but all I have to prove I'm a fire controller is the mark in my hand, and the reddish specks starting to appear in my eyes. The Elementor had to give me a private session to learn how to make a flame. Once I got back to my dorm, my roommate, Ashe, who is also in fire with me, was sound asleep. It was the middle of the night. I looked at the mark on my hand. Suddenly a bright flame sparked out of it. I fell of my bed in surprise. The reaction left a throbbing pain in my hand. "Ouch!" I whispered.

ARIA'S POV

I woke up extra-early in the morning to go out and train. I thought it would be a great use of time to practice a bit before breakfast time. I got up from my bed and slowly stepped out and got changed. I didn't notice that I had awoken Dawn too. By the time I got to the practice room, the sun was beginning to rise. I almost walked into the training room, when I heard voices. It sounded like an argument. I peeked my head out the door. Two Elementors, Fire and Earth, where arguing over what element had a better uniform for duel days. I sighed. That was the most stupid argument I had ever heard in my life. "ARIA!" Exclaimed Dawn who had caught up. "Shush!" I said, but it was too late. The Earth Elementor cocked his head to the noise and started walking towards us. "Run!" Whispered Dawn. We both sprinted through the halls with the angry Elementor after us.

DAWN'S POV

We ran through the main meeting room. The Elementor almost got us, but I made a wall of water and Aria evaporated it into heavy fog. We laughed as the Elementor shouted after us. We run through the first story if dorms. By now, the Elementor was far behind. I giggled and made a small pool of water, which I then froze. We watched from a corner as the Elementor, so caught up in his anger, flipped backwards on the ice and fell with a THUNK! I covered my mouth to keep from laughing, but then someone grabbed Aria and I from behind and said: "What do you think you're doing?" It was the Earth Elementor.
