Silence

AMETHYST'S POV

I was so relieved as I put the parachute on Airion. After that, we all touched down safely, thanks to Zane's earth. Airion was in no good condition. Dawn was still scared from the plane experience. "Never trust Airion with planes." I said. The council meeting was in sight. We pulled Airion behind the outdoor stage and I walked forth. "I'll explain, Airion's in no condition." I said. Just then Airion opened one eye. "I can do it." He said hoarsely. With Dawn's help, he got onto the stage, as a council member was explaining how it was better without the element controllers. They said with only four, leaders (them of course) who controlled elements, the world could be more balanced etc. etc. Then, Airion walked in the middle of the stage and took away the microphone. "They... Are lying!" He said. The crowd gasped. "Everyone can control an element. The only separate us because they are afraid!" Airion yelled. "Nonsense! A council man yelled back, but the crowd was listening to Airion. The Earth Council man made a giant stone pillar, taking Airion into the air. Airion laughed and made earth steps down, then he shot a blast of air at the council man.

ARIA'S POV

It had been a day after my duel or something like that. The Elementors where nowhere in sight. When I finally stepped out of my dorm for the first time since my duel, I was surprised. Everyone was frantically running around. "What's wrong?" I asked a random guy. "Air-Airion Brite is a monster!" He ran away quickly. "What?" I thought. I thought that was Dawn's boyfriend or something. I shrugged. I saw a girl. She looked around my age. She had blonde hair and really dark brown eyes. She stood in a dark corner watching all the people passing by. I guess she seemed lonely, so I walked up to her. She noticed me and stuttered. "Th-They left..." She said. "Who left?" I asked. " She laughed. "The Brites. And the others." She laughed. I stepped back and broke into a run.

AIRION'S POV

"We can change this!" I yelled. "We just need to get rid of them!" I pointed towards the council. Everyone looked at them. I looked at the crowd again. "If you think you can control an element, you can!" I yelled. I signaled at Zane. He threw the element pills at the crowd. They where caught and eaten. Everyone could now control an element for 10 minutes. I saw fire, water, wind, and earth. We all attacked the council. "Come on everyone!" I screamed. The council men where good. They used all their elements against us, parrying our attacks and all. Most of the people had run out of power at this point. I was drained.  Dawn was tired, hardly fighting off the Water council guy. Amethyst was gasping for breath along with Zane. I was the only person still fighting. All council men shot their elements at me, and I blocked it off with a purple flame. Then, they did it again, this time I wasn't quick enough. They where about an inch from my face when Amethyst jumped in front of me. Silence.
