Surprise

AMETHYST'S POV

We walked out the door. Sunlight streamed into the dark room. No one spoke. We pushed the dead guards into the dark room. We ran outside and into the street. Cars honked and we laughed as we kept running. "Airion! I see our apartment! It's over there!" I exclaimed. I pointed over to a large building. Airion didn't speak. He pointed towards a large advertisement. It was of the annual speech, given by the Elemental Council. I clenched my fists at the mention of them. "If we make it there in time... I can tell everyone about it. The council will be there too." Airion said. "Exactly how are we going to get there today by noon?" Dawn asked. Airion tubbed his hands together. "I have a plan!"

DAWN'S POV

"This is CRAZY!" I screamed as we arrived at the airport. "How exactly are we going to take a plane to the council meeting?" Zane asked. "Wind of course..." Airion said, as if it had been obvious. Zane made steps onto the roof of the building and we quickly settled. "What now?" Amethyst asked. "Now, we fly." Airion laughed. Zane made some earthen steps onto the back of a plane that wasn't boarded. We opened the door and slid inside. "Since when do YOU know how to fly a plane?!" I asked Airion as he sat in the pilot's seat. "Since I learned how to control wind." He spoke.

AIRION'S POV

I started up the engine to the plane and it flew completely upwards. Dawn and Amethyst where screaming their heads off. I used some wind ti balance the plane. It was now going forward. "We'll arrive in 10 minutes with luck...." I said. Suddenly the plane started speeding up. "Not so fast." A deep voice growled. "AIRION!" Amethyst shrieked. The plane lurched  forward. There was another wind controller in the plane. Suddenly the door to where I was sitting flew open. A man stepped inside. It was the wind Elementor. "You are supposed to be dead!" I screamed. "The others are... I survived." He said smugly. He shot a blast if wind at my face and my head smashed against the glass. The air pressure was getting intense. The windows where cracking one by one. I was starting to see blurry. The others where alert and had parachutes on their backs, but I couldn't even move. The Elementor opened the door with the last parachute and jumped out. How did I let him get away! Dawn came running in. I was cut from the glass and bleeding. "Try surviving." I whispered. "You're surviving too!" She yelled. The last thing I remember was Amethyst running in with a spare parachute, she screamed at all the blood. Then I blacked out.
