Time Flies By

Eight months later...

Eight months had passed since father's death. Because of father's wishes, we placed his lifeless body in the temple besides his mother. No ceremony. Nothing. His lifeless body was carefully dressed up in a tux and buried away. For years, I never thought I would care at that old fart's burial. However, I was young and did not notice what I had till it was gone.

On the other hand, we kept father's wish and stayed engaged to all our fiancés. During this period of time, we all became close to our partners. When Krista finally woke up, she began planning weddings immediately. Krista tried to keep the thought of losing father out of her mind. Unlike Krista, Aurora, Luna, and Silvia would come to me when they had to cry, Kat would write in her diary or tell Niles how she felt. For me, I had my sisters and Sebastian to keep me sane. I must say having two voices in my head was hard.

Insanity was always a problem now. Since vampire blood was out of the question, the council agreed to let me drink human blood. Not as much as I desired though. Still,  human blood would not be enough for my cravings. However, the supply of soldiers was delicious.

Human soldiers would attack us, but their blood stopped me from losing my mind. Sometimes the taste of their blood could make me feel like I was floating on a cloud. Stoners. However, I wondered all the time why the media has not got their hands on us yet. Guess Derrick was really deleting as much data as he could.

Now we are a day away from Luna's wedding. Deciding to do each week a different wedding, we started at the youngest couple. In eight months, I saw my little girl change. Luna did not want to hang with me as much but would rather have me to protect her rather than Hale. After a run through the woods, I noticed one night Hale and her were kissing under a tree. Seeing her grow up and act her age made me become so proud of her. Now, she is getting married. Oh how the time passes.


The rush of girls hurried around the mansion carrying supplies and decorations for Luna's wedding. Smiling, I watched as the group of people hurried off into vehicles. Luna wanted her wedding to be away in the woods with a lot of color. Last time I checked, Luna finally decided on hot pink and baby blue colors. Standing in front of the house, I stayed at home to watch over Luna. Luna entrusted the boys and our sisters to fix the wedding to her desire. Walking back inside the house, I slowly made my way down the hallway to Luna's room.

Making it to her room, I knocked softly on her wooden door. Footsteps patted in front of the door, and small hands twisted the doorknob. A red eye popped out of the crack in the door. Opening the door, I walked into Luna's room. Pink was on the walls while the carpet was bleach white. The single bed was located on the right side. On top of the bed was light purple sheets with lime green dots. By the bed was a white desk. On the left side was a painted neon blue closet while on the wall across from the door was two large windows.

After walking in, I saw Luna sitting on her bed. Her loose black shorts laid on her small figure while the pink tank top stayed tight on her medium rack. Half of her blonde hair was laying gracefully on her shoulders with the balls of blonde hair on her head. Her red eyes glared at me with nerves.

"You ok?" (Me)
"It is finally time isn't it? In a couple of hours, I will be married. Will I have to move out?" (Luna)
"Of course not. Y'all can live here." (Me)
"Thanks, Sabina." (Luna)
”Who is walking you down the isle?" (Me)
"Well I've been thinking. Since you didn't pick bridesmaid or maid of honor dress, I picked a dress personally for you to walk me down the isle. Let me get it, so you can try it on." (Luna)

Raising up from the bed, Luna walks out of the door into the hallway. Wow. Luna got a dress for me. Always wondering why I was not a maid of honor or bridesmaid, I never imagined I would be walking her down the isle. Luna may be getting older, but she remembers all the stuff we have been through. Happiness covered my body as I sat on her bed. My red hair was laying softly and curly on my shoulders. My loose black tank top and loose blue shorts laid softly on my curves and large rack.

Waiting patiently for Luna, I guess my voices decided to come out. Mostly laughter. Annoying laughter.

'Strange how she still cares so much, yet you and her know so little.' (Hellfire)
'What do you mean?' (Me)
'You are the dense one. If you killed a demon, how do you think it comes back alive?' (Bloodlust Sabina)
'Ritual. Who would perform that though?' (Me)
'Who have you ticked off?' (Hellfire)

The two voices continued to talk about how my mother could have been alive. Ritual. A dark ritual is so difficult to perform, but it is easy of you have a good blood sacrifice. Wondering about how things were going on, I did not notice Luna walk in. In her hand was two large white bags with a hanger sticking out on the tops. Smiling, Luna's eyes grew full of excitement and enthusiasm.

"Ok! You go change in the closet while I change in here." (Luna)
"Are there shoes in here too?" (Me)
"Of course!" (Luna)

Grabbing the dress, I walked into the closet and shut the door. Luna's closet was twice as large as mine, but hers was messer. My bare feet got entangled in dirty clothes. Placing the bag on a hook, I unzipped the bag to discover and neon blue flowy short sweet heart neckline dress. Diamonds were lined and patterned around the front and back on the dress. Smiling, I took my regular clothes off. Sliding the blue dress on, I zipped up the back of the dress.  

The dress held my breast up firmly while the dress was tight on my waist. Smiling, I twisted my long strands to curl a little. Opening the closet door, I walked out to see Luna staring at me with loving red eyes covered in a white veil. Her white dress was tight on the top of her body with straps around the low part of her shoulder. While gloves went up to her elbow, her breast popped out a little with blue stones placed in the middle and white fabric laying over her breast. The lower part of the dress flowed out layering on each other. Her hair was straight and falling on her shoulders with a blue rose placed on her veil. Seeing my sister in her dress,  a smile curved on my face at the thought of my sister's marriage. Luna was getting married to the guy she loved. My little sister was no longer little.

"You look beautiful!" (Me)
"We both do!" (Luna)
"Tomorrow will be amazing." (Me)
"Best. Day. Ever. I hope." (Luna)

Happiness grew inside of me, but I could not be fully happy. The thought of someone's purposely summoning my mother disgusted me. Who would want to summon a demon to attack me? Lost in thought, I heard a voice growing closer to the door. A knock came from the door.

"Hold on!" (Me)

Grabbing Luna, I pulled her into the closet. The voice sounded like a male, and I did not want to chance Hale coming in. Sliding our dresses off, we threw them in the corner of the closet and put on our regular clothes.  Shutting the closet door, I stood in front of the closed bedroom door.

"Who is it?" (Me)
"Open the door and find out, Sabi." (Voice)

With Luna laughing behind me, I twisted the doorknob and opened the door. In front of me, I felt the blue eyes staring at me with his red long hair laying of his face. A black leather long sleeved jacket laid on top of his v neck red shirt. Tightly, his jean held on his long legs with his black shoes shined up. His pale skinned hands were covered with red gloves. No way could he be here. Why was he here? No. That smile. Those eyes. I felt my chest tighten.

"Nice to see you, Sabi." (Guy)
"Shin." (Me)
"The one and only, darling." (Shin)

A elite vampire hunter. At my home. Not only a vampire hunter. My ex boyfriend.
