Chapter 18

"Dang it! I hate this so much!" shouted Louis. Frank looked over at him disappointingly. "I didn't think this would happen if I'd break up with her!" Louis exclaimed. "I guess you just didn't think this through Louis." Frank told him. "I guess not." Louis sighed. "Well, I'm going to have to do something about it." "Like what?" Frank asked. "Don't know yet. But I'll figure it out soon." Louis replied. Frank stopped walking. "I hope you're making the right decision doing this." Frank looked over at Louis seriously. Louis smirked. "I know what to do. I feel this is the right decision. By the way, why the heck did you tell Dani that?!" Louis exclaimed raising his arms high up into the air. "Tell her what?" Frank asked. "You told her to go out with that damn Felix!" Louis yelled. "Well, you should've told me in the first place that you still had feelings for her. How would I have known on my own, you were the one who broke up with her and for the past four months, avoiding her and not speaking to her!" Frank protested back. Louis raised an eyebrow. "Oh well now you know! I'm in love with Dani!" Louis shouted loudly. The birds flew away from the trees.
       Daniela stopped walking. She turned her head and looked behind her. "Is something the matter?" Felix asked. "I thought I heard someone shout my name." Daniela replied, squinting her eyes and searching around. "You're probably just hearing things." Felix told Daniela. Daniela turned her head back slowly. "Yeah, probably." They kept on walking. Felix smiled happily as they started to pass through the park. Daniela noticed and looked at him weirdly. Felix looked at her and saw the face she was making at him. "What?" Felix asked, still smiling. "Why are you smiling like that?" Daniela made an awkward smile. "I'm just so happy that you accepted my offer into becoming my girlfriend. I am the happiest guy alive right now." Felix replied grinning. Daniela blushed. Felix came closer to Daniela. He took her hand and held it tightly.
       They both walked to the front of Daniela's house. "Bye I'll see you Monday." Daniela smiled. She started to let go of Felix's hand. Before she could fully let go, he tugged on her hand. Daniela was pulled back and she fell into Felix's arms. He squeezed her tight and kissed her on the cheek. Daniela's face turned bright red. Her face felt hotter than ever. Felix let go of her then waved bye. Daniela opened the door to her house and watched as Felix left. She closed the the door and leaned against it. Daniela sighed then smiled. What have I gotten myself into? Daniela thought.

         The next day Daniela sat on her bed, scrolling through her phone. Ding! Daniela checked who messaged her. "Felix?" Daniela questioned herself. She read the message.

          Hey I was wondering if wanted to go on a date with me next Saturday

         Daniela blushed.
          Sure where to? She texted back.

         Daniela waited impatiently for Felix to text back.

         I was thinking about going to get ice cream at Amy's Ice Cream Parlor, if that's okay with you . . .

         Daniela smiled. "Daniela!" Daniela's mother suddenly shouted. "Yes?!" Daniela yelled back. There was no response. Daniela moaned and got up. She quickly texted Felix back.

        Daniela turned off her phone and quickly ran to her mother to she what she wanted. I can't wait to tell Melissa, Allison, Hana, Alexia and all my other friends, thought Daniela as she skipped into the kitchen.

         "Guess what you guys?" Daniela asked her lunch table the next day. "What?" they all asked. "I'm going out with Felix now." Daniela announced. "Really?" asked Allison surprised. "Yeah, he asked me out on Saturday." Daniela added. "Wow Daniela, I never thought I would be hearing this from you." Alexia said, nodding her head. The bell rang. Everyone started to walk out of the cafeteria. "I know." said Daniela to Alexia as they walked through the hallway. "But it's the choice I made." Daniela added. Daniela felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Frank. He smiled and waved to her. Daniela waved back, then she noticed Louis standing next to Frank. She frowned and turned back around and resumed talking to Alexia. "Felix asked me to go get ice cream at Amy's Ice Cream Parlor. I'm excited!" said Daniela happily. "When?" Alexia asked. "On Saturday, I think we're deciding around one p.m." replied Daniela.
          Daniela didn't know was that Louis was listening very carefully. Louis smirked. Time to think out my plan, Louis thought. Louis looked over at Frank. Frank looked at him. "Come to my house today, I am going to make a plan and I need you're help." Louis whispered to Frank before they left to their lockers. "Got your back man." Frank replied, they punched fists and split apart to their lockers.

          Melissa and Daniela buckled in their seat belts as the bus started to leave the school. "I can't wait 'till Saturday." said Daniela happily to Melissa. Melissa smiled. "I'm happy for you Daniela, but are you sure getting in another relationship is going to help you?" Daniela looked at Melissa seriously. "Look Melissa, I'm not taking advantage of Felix's feelings. That's wrong. I want to see if it will be better to be with Felix. And if it does hurt me again, then I might as well not do it again, maybe in a long time." Daniela replied sternly. Melissa's eyes widened. "Wow Daniela, this is the first time I've seen you so serious." Melissa responded surprised. Daniela sighed, "Yes, I'm sorry for being so serious, but it's true what I said." Melissa smiled. "Yes I know."
         Meanwhile, Frank and Louis sat outside. "Your plan seems legit." Frank nodded. Louis grinned. "Yes, it might actually work out." Louis smirked. "We can just be there during their date and sit with them so nothing lovey-dovey happens between them." "I have a feeling Daniela's gonna be mad at me. But with the plan that you have I would do it no matter what." Frank smiled. They high-fived and laughed together, excited for Saturday afternoon.
