Day 6
I woke up to Ralph watching the woods, as if he had heard something. I said this to Ralph: "I'm hungry. Want to help me hunt for food?" Ralph nodded like he understood. I tried to walk around, and I could, but I was in pain. I said, "You hunt, I can't today." Ralph ran into the woods to hunt. I decided that I would work on finding something to drink. I looked around, and saw a coconut tree. I walked toward the coconut tree. I grabbed a branch, and hit the coconut tree. 12 coconuts fell. I grabbed all of the coconuts, and walked toward a big rock. I went and found an old jug to put the coconut milk in. I smacked each coconut on the rock until there was a hole in the coconut, and the poured the milk in the old jug I had found. I collected pieces of wood, really long bendable twigs, and leaves. A while went by and Ralph came back with two zebras in his mouth. I was surprised, because the zebras were humongous. I thought about all the survival movies I had watched, and then remembered how to make a fire without matches or a liter. I went and collected a lot of wood for the fire I was about to make. I made a fire. I got my knife and skinned one of the zebras. I cut some chunks of meat off of the zebra and stuck a stick through each of the chunks of meat. I set up something over the fire that I could put one of the sticks with meat on it on. After I had cooked each chunk of meat, I gave Ralph half of the zebra and I kept the other half. We ate all of the meat and then I started to talk to Ralph. I said, "Thank you Ralph. You know what? You are one of the only friends I've ever had. I may not be able to understand what you say, but I feel like you can understand what I say. Am I crazy, Ralph?" I sat there hoping that Ralph would say something, but he never did. All that he did was lay his head in my lap and fall asleep, I soon did the same.
