I put the note in front of me and read to myself "Valerie, please don't tell April, but instead of going to college like I told my dad, I went off with mark and we got married. I don't know what to do. Please help". I gave Valerie the note back."There's the emergency. And, she told me mark raped her and she's pregnant so she moved out so that your dad wouldn't suspect a thing" Valerie said putting the note away.
Oh my god, I forgot all about my dad! "What time is it?" I asked getting up.
Val looked at her watch and said "9:34 why?"
"Because I need to make my dad supper" I said already half way out the door.
I ran home as fast as I could. I got home at 9:47 out of breath. I quietly opened the door and saw my dad still asleep on the couch. I closed the door as soft as possibly and went up to my room.
