A dog for sure! They are loyal and their purpose in life (thanks to us horrible humans) is pretty much to make you happy. My dog walks into everyone's room at night to make sure we're ok before he thinks about sleeping himself. A wolf, however it would be cool, belongs in the wild and it would be cruel to start making them your personal toy too. Same goes for any other wild animal.
We've domesticated enough.
