What helps you sleep at night? This is basically what the title says. What helps me sleep actually is imagining my worst fears surrounding my bed and I go to sleep. Its weird but it works for me.

My cat, her purring is like a lullaby, it helps me relax. It is said cat's purrs can be like medicine, and it's true. Or pressure points.

It normally takes me forever to sleep so I went non youtube for help and I just put my head phones in and listen to relaxing sound and stuff like that

I usually read a book and listen to Capital FM. I know it's a bit weird to be listening to big tunes like that at night, but it helps me, so whatever.

I have GAD so I have anxiety attacks so I'm an extremest: TV/ music; night light; pet; and when it gets really bad I need to sleep where I can hear my parents. There's some more things too.
I was that way after watching a disturbing video ( it was a cartoon shown at school!) I am still scared of that video even though I have watched tons of documentaries on murderesses and drugs
