Is it fair for my parents to force me to watch Star Wars? My parents are yet again forcing me to watch Star Wars, even though that KNOW I hate it after watching it tens of times before. Then I wonder, they won't watch Gravity Falls cause they claim that it's bad and horrible kids show and they change it. Yet they do the same to me with Star Wars. They say it's COMPLETELY fair cause I'm only a teen and I get no respect and garbage. And they say that can do whatever they want to me because I'm just a teenager. I think this is unfair. What do you think? (And any suggestions for what I should do?)

I really like Star Wars, but it is unfair that they're forcing you to watch it, and then being hypocritical about Gravity Falls. In all honesty, they seem to know nothing about Gravity Falls based on their given opinions. I suggest you go ahead and watch the movie with them, but you don't have to pay attention. Maybe bring something to fidget with.

This happens to me a lot.I either suck it up and deal with it,try convincing which causes them to get even more mad with me,or I manage to convince them and I get out of it.My parents always pull the "You're my kid so you have to do what I say,no matter what" card and I hate it.I personally think you should try to tell them why you don't like it and why it should it matter if you watch Star Wars or not?And not letting you watch Gravity Falls? That makes no sense.
