What Horrible Dress Code Rules Do You Have at School? Dress code sucks. What does your school do?

I have a uniform! I have to wear a belt, no jackets on that are not school approved! Annnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No crop tops!!!!!!

Our school will let us wear inflatable Dinosaur costumes, but no one can wear all black (like jacket, shirt, shoes, shoelaces, leggings, skirt, pants, gloves, dark sunglasses/emo make up, and socks at once.) They never tell us why and a lot of people guess "racism" but I think the rule exists for these reasons;

The people in our neighborhood are afraid of our school already-- we don't need to look like we're about to whip out a gun

You have to walk across a busy street to get See More to the second half of the school and they want you to be seen

The principal has a crippling fear of the dark

No ripped jeans or hoodies on dress down days.

no shirts above your belly button and your aloud to wear no straps to a school dance just not spaghetti straps

That we have to wear hats even when we are under cover.

I hate it how we can't wear leggings or yoga pants because they're too "tight." Also, it doesn't make sense how we can't wear flip flops because the school I go to doesn't have any stairs to trip on and we don't have recess.

We don't have a dress code, as per say, but we all have to wear uniforms.

Everything is so short, tiny skirts pretty much exposing our asses

Thankfully we don't at college, but secondary school was crap as hell with dress code... Ugh...
