Is my fish healthy? Will he die? My fish is old and has ripped fins, should I take him to the doctor just because he won't eat?he is a koi and cost about 1,500 bucks. This koi was my moms and is about 120 years old. My grandma breeded him. I have other, younger fish, but this one is special.

The vet wont help and they wont do anything so i would say he will die soon and let nature be.

Vets can't help fish really. We must all hope for the best that your fish will survive but if he dies he dies, there is nothing you can do and if he does then I am so sorry.

Erm.. well how long have you had him? If he's old.. then well... You can't really do much about it... I'm not sure if the doctor will do anything. :/
... what do you mean your fish is 4 months old? Above in the description you said it is a 120 years old...
