While they shouldn't be forced to, seeing as they've probably spent a long time across many generations to earn what they have, it would be incredibly generous of them to donate their wealth, and the world could be just that much nicer.

It's their money. They should do what they want with it. If they want to generous and donate to the poor then that's great but they shouldn't be forced to or harassed about it.
