Have you read... I think it's called Wolves of the Beyond by Kathryn Lasky. I've only read the first book. I was okay, and I would definitely recommend it to wolf lovers... I think... :p I read it a while ago so I don't remember it that well... It just popped into my head right now. :p

I worship wolves! They are my second favorite animal after birds. I don't believe in god, instead I belie that there is a lot we don't know about birds, wolves, and all other creatures!
