About the genetics thing, O'm doing a project on how scientists are mixing the genes of a glowing jelly fish and the mustard plant to make a glowing mustard, can you help explain this?
Well, I'm not all good at explaining this whole plant genetics thing, but I would advise you to look up 'the monk and pea plants' as it explains it very well. I'm afraid I can't help you much with animal-plant hybrids, but I'll do my best:
Think of the jellyfish genes as a... Pea. A farmer takes a pea and places it within a... Broad bean seed. When the broad See More bean plant grows, the pea 'genes' grow along with the plant. The result would be a pea x broad bean plant, aka a 'broad pea'. The broad peas may look the same as a broad bean, but because a pea was placed inside of a broad bead seed, they have the same taste as a pea.
That was a horrible explanation, I'll try my best to look up on plant-animal hybrids for the future ;)
