Anxiety: Telling yourself that it'll be okay when you know it won't be.

Nearly had a panic attack in school today.

2:36 in Santa Tell Me. When I hear that, all I think of is Snow in California.

Just watched Ari at the AMAs...I couldn't. Everyone knew who she was this year. The songs were familiar to them. But when I watched her performance at the AMAs last year...barely anyone knew her.

I was just an 11 year old girl sitting in her room, watching her idol performing perfectly, as always. But this year...that girl is almost 13, and she's watching her idol performing perfectly again, but the situation is completely different. Everyone knows who her idol is now. That See More fact makes the girl's life worse. But forgetting about that, and just adoring her idol...that's something she's been doing for over a year, and will do for a lot longer.

Literally EVERY TIME I'm talking about what kind of music we like with someone in my class, when I say, 'I really like All Time Low too.' They say, 'Isn't that a song?' And I'm just like, 'No, they're a band.' And the person is just like, 'Oh.'
I think they're judging me for liking a band no one has heard of. I wouldn't be surprised.
