Ephemeral

Ephemeral

Warning! Probably swearing, maybe some other themes. Nothing too major but uh, yeah. Just a temporary title for a series of drabbles, mostly between two of my OCs. To be edited and revised. Majorly. Still, it'll be fine, probably. Read if you'd like, or don't.

Scenario #4 [Mello x Theo]

Synopsis: Meliodas, after coming back from a fight with minor injuries, is persuaded by Theo who insists on healing him. Theo lectures Mello about the dangers.

The demon watched, amusement dancing in his eyes as the angel stood by his side, hands hovering over Meliodas' main injuries. The angel's hands emitted a soft golden glow which enveloped the demon's body. It was warm, but in a pleasant, muted heat. The demon allowed himself to relax as a radiant golden halo flickered into being above Theodore as he worked his magic of healing.

The demon looked on in slight awe as his main injuries slowly healed, the tissue rebuilding itself until there was nothing but faint scars remaining. Well, it only added to his pre-existing collection, the demon noted before his magenta eyes flickered to Theodore, who watched him quietly. It was a couple of minor wounds, but the angel insisted on healing them.

"Thank you," Meliodas murmured, offering a faint smile. The angel nodded and Mello braced himself for the scolding he was sure to come.

"You have to stop getting in so many fights," the angel warned. Meliodas chuckled; part of him found the worry endearing.

"Don't worry, Theo, I can handle myself, besides, I get to feel the adrenaline of the fight and then get healed by you, what’s not to love?" the demon waved off his the angel's concerns.

Theo resorted to hitting the demon on the back of the head, though, that did little to hide the sudden, albeit faint, rosy blush that coloured his cheeks.
