I'm a Poet

I really enjoy writing poems, it helps me think. I've written quite a few poems, and will continue to write them. If you like poetry, you'll enjoy this book.

Imperfect

This world is an imperfect place

It's so two-faced

No one wants to be fat,

Or end up with tons of cats.

Who cares?

I want to know someone who dares

To yell, "I'm ugly and I'm proud!"

To yell it real loud.

I need to find someone not fake.

That's like a river, not a lake.

I'm ugly,

But that's just me.

These are clever. Poetry is a very creative way of writing that I believe deserves more appreciation.

I really like this. I think you should try other forms of poetry instrad of just couplets. Maybe try free verse or lyric, for it helps with expression.
