Forget Fashion
So what if I'm ugly? That's just part of being me.
I really don't care
If you like my hair.
It's just dead skin cells,
Useless as broken bells.
I don't care if you like my shoes.
Haven't you got the news?
Who cares about my shirt?
It just gets covered in dirt.
What about shorts?
You wear them on tennis courts.
What's the big deal?
Why do you post pictures of your meal?
Who cares if you like my hat?
Or if it's bill is flat?
Forget fashion.
This world needs some compassion.
Tell your mom you love her.
Make your cat purr.
Tell a stranger they look stunning.
Be smart and cunning.
Love people for who they are,
Not what they're wearing.
Forget about if they have a fancy car.
Prove that sharing truly is caring.
