Finally Being Let Go (Chapter 20)
- Dream -Cinderpaw and Hawkpaw were together by the lake again. They were talking about random things like always. All of a sudden, Hawkpaw swiftly stood up and stomped his paw. "I can't do this anymore! Cinderpaw, I don't love you!"
"W-wha-?" Cinderpaw was surprised, shocked, confused, and hurt at Hawkpaw's sudden outburst. "You heard me! I. Don't. Love. You." Hawkpaw sternly said as he got up in Cinderpaw's face. She whimpered sadly/shocked. She didn't expect this to happen. Cinderpaw got up shakily and clawed Hawkpaw's cheek which surprised him because he didn't think she would do that.
She turned and walked over to the entrance to the forest but stopped. She then turned to face Hawkpaw, tears streaming down her face.
"After all this time...I loved you, but you never did...? I accept your honesty Hawkpaw and....and I'll give you your space by leaving. We're through Hawkpaw. I hope you are...ok with that..." She sadly smiled at Hawkpaw then ran back to Thunderclan camp. Hawkpaw stood there, wondering why he did what he had just done.
~~ Morning ( end of dream ) ~~
Cinderpaw felt someone poking her awake. She got up and saw that her mentor was the one waking her up. She sighed in relief, glad that what just happened was a dream. She then went out to the lake and met Hawkpaw there. They stayed there for a while. Then all of a sudden, everything that happened in Cinderpaw's dream just happened and became reality.
Right now, Cinderpaw was in the Med Den helping her mentor with sorting the herbs.
