Are you sure? (Chapter 18)
Leaf-bare had finally arrived and fast and when it did... Well, let's just say someone's kits hit them hard and a few weeks after Leaf-bare started two new kits were born. Faunkit and Sharpkit. Cinderpaw sighed in exhaustion when Longpelt and her were done. At night, Cinderpaw got up to leave camp and go to the lake to sleep there. ~~ Time Skip ~~
Cinderpaw finally made it to the lake. She laid down in an abandoned fox den and when she did she felt her eyelids droop so she closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.
Hawkpaw's P.O.V.
I was walking around the lake side since I was bored. My mind started drifting to Cinderpaw. 'Is my lovely Cinderpaw really a part of the Dark Forest? What other secrets could she be keeping? Why did Mapleclaw have to get to her? Why not someone else? Does Mapleclaw know about Cinderpaw's past?' My thoughts faded away when I saw that there was a abandoned fox den beside me. I noticed that there was a small figure asleep inside. I wondered if it was a fox cub but when I took a closer look I saw that it was Cinderpaw sleeping. 'She does know that it's Leaf-bare, right?' I laughed at this thought. I walked over to the entrance of the fox den and sat there keeping guard. 'No one is going to hurt my Cinderpaw tonight.' I thought and silently growled.
Normal P.O.V.
Cinderpaw woke up to have her eyes land on Hawkpaw sitting in the entrance to the fox den. "H-Hawkpaw?" He turned to face her. He got up ad walked over to her. Hawkpaw laid down beside her trying to warm her up by basically laying on top of her. If cats could blush she would. Cinderpaw did like the warmth though so she stayed there and said nothing. They stayed there for the rest of the night.
