What can be better then this? (Waverley x Nova)

Stargazing has its own rewards and fun, but add a midnight picnic under the stars and magic is bound to happen. Early in the evening, Nova begin preparing the midnight supper. She started with cheesy pasta salad then prepared individual servings in plastic containers with lids. Nova then happily mixed honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon balls in another container. While doing this her mind wondered off in thought. The reason she was making this picnic was to show Waverley how much she ment to her. Nova felt like the two had not been on a romantic date in a while and was willing to create a night out for just themselves. Waverley walks into the kitchen and taps her girlfriend of the shoulder.
"Hey!"
"Oh, hi Waverley! You ready for the date?"
"Sure am! Lets go!" So the two hand in hand stroll out of the house.

They reach a spot under a large oak tree and lay the red and white checked blanket across the grass. They both sit and start to unpack.
"Cheesy pasta salad, watermelon balls with yum! Honeydew! You really wen all out with this huh?" Waverley commented looking up at Nova with raised eyebrows. Nova shrugs and giggles.
"The best for the best!"
"Thats sweet" As if on cue the sky started to grow dark and the wind became stronger. Waverley shivers and rubs her arms to keep warm. Nova smiles and hands her another basket.
"Here"
"T-thanks" Waverley says wrapping it around her shoulders. Thats when she felt a wet substance on her nose.
"Huh?" Then another on her hand, another on her head and one in her hair.
"Oh no it's raining!" Nova whimpers. The rain splashed all over the read and white blanket soaking it, all over the food making it soggy and all over the two lovers.
"The picnic! I just wanted a nice night out and look what happened! I'm sorry Waverley, sorry this couldn't be the perfect night" Nova rambled. Waverley looked at her girlfriend with pity. A wave of wisdem washed over her and she smiles kindly. She tskes out two sandwiches that had not gotten wet.
"Hey, follow me" Waverley climbs up the oak tree until she was shielded from the rain, Nova close behind. She settles herself on a sterdy branch the has a clear veiw of the stars and moon. Nova settles down next to her and watches the moon.
"I know you put a lot of time into the picnic Nova, but I don't need all the fancy food to make me love you. I just need time with you." Waverley says wrapping the blacket that was on her around the both of them. She then hands Nova a sandwich before turning back to look at the dazzeling night sky and nibbling her own. Nova looks down at the food in her hand and smiles.
"Yeah" She takes a large bite out of the sandwich and leans her head on Waverley's shoulder.
"What can be better then this?"
