If only you knew...(Sonic X Jackie) part 2 (final)

Jackie and Sonic both sigh with their last sentence. It was true, the two loved each other dearly but the fight that they had was the only thing keeping them apart. The arguement. Sapphire and Tails had been, lets say, the thrid wheels in thier break up. They had talked about what was going to happen and finally come to a conclustion.
"Look, Jackie" Sapphire states. "We don't meet people by accident. They were meant to cross our paths for a reason"
"Some people just come into your life and you just know you won't be able to replace them if they left, Sonic" Tails annouces.
"Realtionships include: fights, jealousy, tears, disagreements"
"But a real realationship fights all that with love" Tails and Sapphire say in unison. Both Sonic and Jackie fall silent and think about their friends little speech for a moment.
"Thanks, I know what I have to do!" Jackie and Sonic state before hanging up. Sapphire puts down her mobile and look at Tails who was sat at the other end of the room.
"Think they got the idea?"
"Oh yeah, definatly"

Jackie looked in the mirror and studdied her reflection carefully. Was she ready to do this? She needed to, for Sonic's sake. She inhaled sharply before turning around and marching towards her door. Just as she layed her hand upon the nob she heard a knock. Puzzled, she opened the door to see Sonic standing there with a bunch of bright pink roses.
"Jackie!"
"Sonic!"
"I have to tell you something!"
"Really? I have something to tell you first"
"But I-"
"Please, Sonic? It's...really important" Sonic nods and gestures for Jackie to continue. "I'm so sorry" She whispers. "I shouldn't have lied to you, I shouldn't have lied at all-" Sonic cuts Jackie off with the wave of his hand.
"Don't. I get why you-"
"No, Sonic, let me explain. I didn't want you to feel sorry for me, but after I realised I shouldn't have lied it was too late! I didn't want to be lonely again. I didn't-" Sonic once again cut Jackie off.
"Stop it, where should I put these?"
"Oh! Erm, they can go in the main room, in the vase" As soon as the words left her mouth Sonic was beside her best vase carefully putting the flowers inside. "Sonic" Jackie started again determind to tell Sonic exactly what she meant. Sonic glanced at her and was suddenly by her side. He takes her hands in his and gently squeases them. He takes a deep breath before speaking.
"I can't promise to fix all your problems, but I can promise that you won't have to face them alone again" He says. "You won't be lonely, I won't leave you again" Jackie stares at Sonic before a small smile appears on her face.
"Thank you" The two then lean forwards and share a kiss.

"How much were the flowers?"
"Oh, don't start"
