The Sound of Revenge

I wrote this story a while ago but really want to share it. I will update it regularly so please mark it as a favourite story so you won't miss out. Writing this really helped me get out my emotions into the story. PLEASE READ!

WHAT have I don't?

I rang him back. No answer. I rang him again. Still no answer. I left a voice message saying how sorry I was and how I didn’t mean it and how I was a monster. I said everything I was feeling. I texted him saying the same sorts of things and how I would love to see him on Saturday. No answer. I felt empty and cold hearted. How could I do such a thing to the sweetest person? I cried and cried in the toilet. Eventually I got out to have a look around. I was pretty sure Jarrod had gone home after my wolverine incident. He hadn’t chased me and I hadn’t heard anything since. I walked out to the oval and lay on the grass. I didn’t care if I looked weird. I didn’t care anymore about anything except getting Darcy back. He had shared with me many personal things and I had shared many of mine, but I didn’t want to hurt him. I didn’t want him to worry. I was foolish for not trusting him to not do anything drastic. A shadow came up behind me but I ignored it until I saw its face. Drew. He must have been doing running training and had just finished because he was in a running top and looked puffed out. He was wiping his sweating face with a towel. He peered down at me.
“What are you doing Sam?” he asked smiling.
“Thinking about whether I’m really sinking into this grass or is it just me thinking it” I said. It was a metaphor of cause. The grass was the mess that I created and I was really sinking into it, but Drew didn’t need to know about that considering half the mess contained one of his best friends.
“You are strange” he said with a laugh, but he laid down beside me.
“I know” I said looking up at the clouds.
“Where have you been hiding anyway? I haven’t seen much of you since I found your headphones” Drew said.
“Yeah thanks for finding them by the way. I’ve had a lot of school work” I said. It wasn’t completely false but was definitely not completely true.
“I don’t’ quite believe you” he said looking at me. I looked away. I hated lying to him. I hated lying to anyone. I had even felt bad about lying to my parents on Saturday night when I took off to Rage but no way would they ever have let me go there. My phone started buzzing again. It was Darcy! Drew looked at my phone.
