Why I Love My Idols

Charles Joseph McDermott. One of my favourite people in this world, and my favourite actor.

I first discovered Charlie only about a month ago. I was in my room, just watching the TV, when an advert for The Middle came on. I saw him in the advert, and I was like, "Wow, the guy with the curly hair is really cute."

So that night, I decided to watch The Middle when it was on, because I wanted to find out more about him. I watched the episode, and while I was watching it, I really paid the most attention to Charlie. I thought that his character, Axl Heck, was really relatable and funny, and I just kind of watched him more than the other members of the cast.

When it was over, I realised that I really loved The Middle, mostly because of Charlie. I realised that he was actually an amazing actor, and I already really liked him.

But I still didn't know who he was yet, and I wanted to find out more about him, so then I googled Axl to find out who played him on the show. I found out that it was Charlie McDermott, and I was interested, so I did some research. I looked through his Wikipedia page to find out some basic facts about him, and I learnt about his background too. Then I looked through his Twitter, and I watched all of his Vines and interviews. And I soon discovered that I loved him as a person even more than I loved his character.

And that's when I fell in love with him.

Now I'm going to talk about all of the reasons why I love Charlie so much.

He is such an amazing actor. In his films and TV shows, he always gets so into playing each of his characters and plays them so well that I always forget that he's acting. He captures all of their emotions and thoughts perfectly, and he makes them so relatable. Most of his characters are very different from his own personality, so it probably takes a lot of talent to act like a whole other person. That just shows how great he is at acting.

He is so cute. He has such beautiful ocean blue eyes, they're probably one of my favourite things about him. I also really love his curly hair. It makes him look even more handsome than he already is, and it really suits him. He has a really nice smile too, and whenever he smiles, he looks down at the floor like he's shy or embarrassed, and it's just really cute. He always looks so happy too. His American accent and his laugh are so perfect as well. And half of the time, he's just so cute, but then the other half of the time he can be just really attractive, haha. Everything about him is amazing, really. He's just such an adorable person, and I wish I could just hug him.

His personality is just as nice as his looks. He's such a lovely, sweet person, and he's so kind to everyone he works with. He's always happy, and he's really funny and random too. Just watching him makes me smile, because he seems like such a fun person, and you can tell that he really enjoys what he does. He's also really hardworking. When I was reading an interview about him the other day, I found out that he sometimes actually writes scripts for his own films in between filming scenes for The Middle. It must have taken a lot to get everything done, so he does work really hard to be able to do what he loves.

He is good at literally everything. Even though he's an actor, and that's his main talent besides filmmaking, he's also amazing at a lot of other things. Singing, playing instruments, photography. . .He's so good at so many things. He could have a career in any of them, he has that much talent. I actually kind of wish he would make an album, because his singing voice is just beautiful. And I've seen his photography on Instagram, it's so good.

He's not like a lot of actors today. Most actors these days are quite commercial and only really act in popular films, but Charlie is different. He stars in a lot of films and TV shows that aren't very well known, so it's away from all of the more famous ones. Sometimes I wonder how he's not popular yet, because he's really talented, but it's probably because the best people are usually not really very well known. I like the fact that he's not too popular, but his TV shows and films are still really good, because it shows that things don't have to be mainstream to be amazing.

Basically, I just love Charlie McDermott so much. He is just perfect, and he's such a genuine and relatable person. I wish he could read this, so he would be even the smallest bit aware of how much he means to me. He never fails to make me smile, and I wish I could tell him how incredible he is. He is such a wonderful person, and he is the most amazing actor I have come across.
