Chapter Two (Frozen Edition!)
1. In Disney's movie 'Frozen', Queen Elsa has 400,000 thousand hairs, when Rapunzel (Tangled) only has 27,000.
2. Elsa was also supposed to be the villain in the movie and was supposed to have creepy little ice creatures.
3. To help create the character Sven, an actual live reindeer was brought to the studio. This helped the animators to make Sven's behavior and mannerisms as accurate as possible, even down to the way the reindeer scratched his nose with his hind leg.
4. In real life, no two snowflakes look the same. They all have very different patterns based on how they are created. The animators of 'Frozen' wanted to simulate those special snowflakes as much as possible, so they created their own snowflake generator to help with the task. In the end, 2,000 unique shapes were used in the movie.
5. Anna's catchphrase, 'Wait, what?' is actually something Kristen Bell, who voices her, says a lot.
6. Interestingly, Idina Menzel the actress who has voiced for Elsa had auditioned for Disney’s Tangled but was rejected.
7. Kristien Bell also auditioned for Tangled.
8. Prince Hans is named after the popular and influential Danish fairy-tale poet Hans Christian Andersen. However, Hans Christian Andersen is not a dumb-head.
9. Jennifer Lee – the Co-director of Disney’s Frozen, is the first female director to have directed a full-length Disney animated movie. No female director has ever directed a Disney animated movie before.
10. Surprisingly, Frozen director Jennifer Lee also had no prior animation experience of any sort. She's good!
